International Dialing Codes
To make an international phone call using a calling card, you may need to dial one or both of two international dialing codes:
1) an international direct dial code for country you are calling from, and
2) a country code for the country you are calling to.
International access codes are also known as international direct dial codes (IDDs). The terms are used interchangeably to mean the same thing.
Country codes are sometimes called international subscriber dialing codes (ISDs), or country calling codes.
